A Japanese company has released a self-sustaining, solar-powered emergency structure to rival all others. Once set up, it can run on its own off the grid for an entire month.
The trailer has two levels, and can be compressed down to one for transport. It has a kitchen, bath and storage.
Still, Sarah Laskow says it's a bit ugly:
"It looks like the type of emergency structure that, dirty and dented, ends up as the home base of one of the last remaining members of the humanity in a post-apocalyptic movie."
