Washington, D.C. has place to do a new Barnes Dance.
"A Barnes Dance intersection, where people can walk through in any direction when traffic is stopped, is coming to 14th and Irving streets in Columbia Heights," reports Stephen Hudson.
The intersection was installed quickly, beginning on Monday and wrapping up on Thursday of this week.
The new Barnes Dance intersection is not Washington, D.C.'s first. There's also another example at 7th and H streets in Chinatown. According to Hudson, Barnes Dance intersections is in keeping with the District's Vision Zero goals.
