The Second City has a new third-tallest skyscraper.

"Vista Tower reached its final height on Friday, when construction workers poured concrete to form the Chicago skyscraper's 101st and final floor," reports Ryan Ori.
Vista Tower is now the third-tallest skyscraper in a city famous for skyscrapers. It's been more than a decade since construction reached these heights in the city, when the Trump International Hotel & Tower reached its full height in August 2008.
"Magellan [Development Group] and its Chinese investment partner, Dalian Wanda Group, broke ground in September 2016 on the $1 billion Vista project. The Jeanne Gang-designed condominium and hotel tower is near the Chicago River and Lake Michigan, at 303 E. Wacker Drive," according to Ori.
The article also includes a series of infographics to better illustrate the scale of the accomplishment in designing and building the new skyscraper.
