The ChiSreetWork website, which updates the location of street repairs and was originally intended for internal use at City Hall, is now publicly available in Chicago.

Mary Wisniewski reports on a new website launched by the city of Chicago that provides to information proposed road repair and utility projects for every neighborhood in the city.
"ChiStreetWork, at https://chistreetwork.chicago.gov/map, offers a Google Maps interface to see projects. If you type in an address, ZIP code, ward, neighborhood or intersection, you can see street projects, infrastructure upgrades and paving information nearby, according to the city," explains Wisniewski.
