The National Park Service is looking for solutions to overcrowding at its most popular parks. The idea of an online reservation system might get its first test in Utah.
Lindsay Whitehurst reports for the Associated Press that officials at Utah's Zion National Park are considering a reservation system as the park struggles to deal with growing crowds.
The online reservation system would be the first of its kind, though Yosemite in California is already testing a reservation system for parking in that hugely popular park. Park rangers in Zion have already completed a public meeting series, and are proposing the online reservation system.
