Ten rider-led transit projects across the United States are open for donations as part of Trick Out My Trip 2016, a crowdfunding initiative from ioby.com and Transit Center.

The campaigns this year focus in large part on revamping, and even reimagining, bus stops. A team in Detroit would enlist community groups to "adopt a stop," while a Miami project would pilot energy-efficient, modular bus shelters.

Three proposals are featured in CityLab, and three are highlighted on Streetsblog in connection with its ongoing Sorriest Bus Stop in America bracket.
