"Pixar has a railing 8 feet high along Park and Hollis streets, with prickly roses at the base that eventually will block all views of the employee park inside. There are chain-link fences and hedges to screen the parking lot and a security gate designed in the same style as the studio inside... Compare this to the scene in San Mateo where Franklin Resources, a financial services firm with 7,000 employees worldwide, last year opened a global headquarters that throws itself wide open to outsiders."
