"When all the high technology companies across Phoenix are placed on a map, Loop 101 in the East Valley takes on a whole new look," according to an article by Eric Jay Toll.

Toll quotes Matthew Coxhead of the Cushman & Wakefield Technology Group to describe the geography of the tech boom in Phoenix: "There are four centers along the 101,” said Coxhead. “Downtown Phoenix is another starting to show potential because of the historic warehouse district."

Toll adds: " Chandler's Price Corridor, downtown Tempe, Old Town Scottsdale and Kierland all are showing signs of attracting and building technology companies. The manufacturing side is heavily weighted to the south in Chandler with advanced knowledge services running northward."
