Outside of Beijing there is an American suburb called Orange County. It is a gated community with homes American-style.

The new development is called the "Orange Storm" by the Chinese media. All 143 units of the first phase were sold within a month. American things are considered superior to local products. The plans had to incorporate 'feng shui', bedrooms facing south, stairways not visible from the front entrance and doors not directly facing the street. The second phase after Orange County? Watermark Longbeach!
