"The Manhattan firm of Richard Meier & Partners in association with the Spector Group of North Hills, received an Archi for the $200 million United States Courthouse and Federal Office Building in Central Islip, which is on 29 acres on the 1,000-acre site of a former state psychiatric center...the judges also presented an Archi award for the 'cutting-edge design' of a treetop-style house designed by LaCroze Miguens Prati Architects, which has offices in Cold Spring Harbor and Buenos Aires."
