"Tech companies say the 28217 ZIP code has many of the major elements needed to attract technology firms: easy access to transportation, plenty of fiber-optic connections and the camaraderie of other technology firms. Its big drawback is a dearth of distinctive buildings and eating establishments, they say. This isn't Austin, Texas, or Manhattan's Silicon Alley. Communities looking to bring in more technology companies should look to 28217 for some pointers."
