From Boing Boing:

"It was all an elaborate publicity stunt to promote the satirical German film Short Cut to Hollywood. Filmmaker Jan Henrik Stahlberg and his team fooled their entire nation by creating fake websites and videos"

From The City of Bluewater's website:

"Bluewater is a community or populated place (Class Code U5) located in San Bernardino County at latitude 34.174 and longitude -114.271. The elevation is 367 feet. Bluewater appears on the Parker U.S. Geological Survey Map. San Bernardino County is in the Pacific time zone."

Bluewater apparently also has a weekly Farmer's Market, and just finished up their Summer Poetry Slam.
