The airport foes get their money from property taxes and sales taxes paid by residents in nine OC cities. Proponents of the airport get the bulk of their money from parking and concession stand sales at the John Wayne airport. The question is consuming OC taxpayers. And it won't be resolved until March, 2001, at the polls.
