Shapiro and Census Bureau Director Kenneth Prewitt will releasethe first set of Census 2000 numbers the resident population andCongressional apportionment totals for each state at a news briefing onThursday, Dec. 28, at 11 a.m. EST, at the National Press Club. The news briefing will be simultaneously webcast live. You must have Real Player 8 to view the webcast.
