While Cisco offered $3 million tohelp preserve open space in the Coyote Valley area, opponents of theproject assert that Cisco has not moved to address the developmentissues of increased traffic, pollution and housing demands that affectneighboring communities. Both the county of Santa Cruz and the city ofSalinas plan to take legal action if Cisco's Coyote Valley plan is notdramatically changed before it's approval by the San Jose City Council.
