A casino planned in the mountain community of Coarsegold near the Yosemite National Park has been delayed due to environmental concerns. The site for casino has wetlands as well as Elderberry bushes which are the habitat for an endangered species of beetle. The plan includes a160,000-square-foot casino, a 200-room hotel, a steakhouse, coffee shop, entertainment lounge and 500-seat buffet.
