The new "My Community Explorer" interactive dashboard is intended to help drive data-based solutions to inequality in and between communities.
The U.S. Census Bureau launched a new data explorer tool called My Community Explorer (MCE) on Monday of this week. The MCE promises to map demographic and socioeconomic data that “measure inequality and can help inform data-based solutions” down to the community level, according to a U.S. Census Bureau press release.
The MCE was created as directed by the President's Executive Order 13985 on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility in the Federal Workforce, according to the press release.
