New details of an ambitious infill project in Des Moines were released at the end of 2017.
The news is a bit dated, but the Gray's Station development in Des Moines is one to watch.
Kim Norvell revealed the renderings and details of the Gray's Station mega-development planned for a 75-acre area adjacent to the city's downtown.
"Gray's Station aims to turn an abandoned rail yard on the north bank of the Raccoon River into an upscale neighborhood with a focus on walkability in a park-like setting," according to Norvell. "The $41 million multi-family project will be located along Southwest 11th Street between Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway and Tuttle Street."
The project's developer, Hubbell Realty Co., recently released renderings for the first phase of the project—five-building, 195-unit complex known as The Linc. The Linc is intended as a "gateway" to the rest of the project.
