The University of Iowa’s School of Urban and Regional Planning invites you to an informational webinar on Thursday, April 6 at 12:00 PM (CST). The webinar will include an overview of the program, a graduate student panel, information about funding opportunities, internships and career services, and the admissions process. The webinar will conclude with an online chat, and the opportunity to ask questions about the Iowa Urban and Regional Planning program.
For over 50 years, the University of Iowa has been offering high quality graduate education in urban and regional planning.Our focus is on public policy, sustainability, and analytical urban planning. The School of Urban and Regional Planning is a national leader in community engagement and pioneered the Iowa Initiative for Sustainable Communities (IISC), through which students from disciplines across campus provide key answers to important sustainability questions for communities in Iowa.Areas of concentration include: economic development; geographic information systems (GIS); land use and environmental planning; housing and community development; and transportation.
Applications for fall 2017 are currently being accepted. Students in the program come from all undergraduate majors, and graduates secure jobs in government, private consulting firms and non-profit organizations.
