Call for Session Proposals Open — 16th Annual New Partners for Smart Growth Conference

WebsiteThe Local Government Commission (LGC) is conducting a formal Call for Session Proposals (CFSP) for the 16th Annual New Partners for Smart Growth: Practical Tools and Innovative Strategies for Creating Great Communities Conference. Proposals will be accepted May 16th through June 30th (proposals received after June 30th, 2016 will not be considered). The submittal review process will take place from mid-July through August 2016.
All proposals must be submitted through an online submittal form on the conference web site (proposals will not be accepted via fax or email). Proposers will be asked to create a login that will allow for saving content prior to submitting. There is no limit to the number of proposals a person can submit!
The conference theme for 2017 conference is “practical tools and innovative strategies to create great communities” and conference organizers are placing an emphasis on including sessions in the program that feature a much stronger focus on implementation. They are specifically looking for sessions that will provide participants training or instruction on the use of practical tools and technologies and the application of innovative strategies that will empower them to go back home and apply those new skills and resources NOW.
