On this St. Patty's day, we’re tracing the hypnotic patterns and the interlacing lines of the Celtic knot, cultivating Zen for tomorrow’s hours of pub quiz. Evoking an interconnectedness, a non-differentiation between beginning and end, Celtic knots also conjure something quite a bit less grand: long commutes! Traffic! Road rage!

Wait, what? Got into the Jameson a little early have we? No, we haven’t. Last chance!

But we have noticed a few similarities between the noble knot and something altogether different: The ubiquitous roadway interchange.
