"A fellow rider caught a rat on video crawling freely through a subway car on the Number 4 train, and posted the video on YouTube." (below)

When interviewed by NY1 for an explanation, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority spokesman wisely used it as an opportunity to ask riders to "dispose of trash properly".
