State Farm publishes its list of the ten most dangerous intersections in the U.S., and in each state, and includes photos.
"About one-third of all crashes occur at intersections. The fact is, many of these crashes can be avoided. Programs in Australia, Canada, and more recently in Michigan have shown intersection improvements -- some of them low-cost -- can lead to crash reduction. State Farm's "Dangerous Intersection" project was initiated to raise public awareness of the inherent dangers of intersections and offer some ways to make them safer." Leading the list are Flamingo Road and Pines Boulevard in Pembroke Pines, F.L. and Red Lion Road and Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia, P.A.
