Philly Phlyer Collegiate and USA CYCLING Race Weekend
This "fantastically eccentric British day out..." comes to America. The Brompton US Championship showcases the world's best folder bicycle in a competition that combines style and speed. Besides top prize of travel to the Brompton World Championship at Blenheim Palace in England, there will also be awards for Best-Dressed.
Participants must wear jacket and tie, visible sports attire is banned; no restrictions on footwear.
There will be a morning Brompton ride and an afternoon pub reception as well. Race start/finish at Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. Spectators advised to arrive by noon for scheduled 1 p.m. start.
Limited to 100 riders; Online registration ends Mar. 10.
