Early bird prices on Urban Design Analysis and New Jersey Planning Law courses end September 14

Rutgers University Professional Development Institute

Rutgers University's Bloustein Online Continuing Education Program offers current, sophisticated and practical learning. Two of our most popular Deep Learning classes -- Urban Design Analysis or New Jersey Planning Law – are available for $245 each if you register by September 14.

Urban Design Analysis is for planners and other learners who want to develop fundamental skills in the practice of urban design. New Jersey Planning Law is for those who want to do land use work in New Jersey or pass the Professional Planner exam. (New Jersey is one of the states that licenses planners.) Both courses begin September 23.

These courses have been approved for 14 AICP Certification Maintenance credits and can apply toward any of three Professional Certificates offered by Rutgers University's Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy.

BOCEP DL courses do more than build your skills. They are highly interactive and taught by seasoned professionals committed to your learning. Taught at a graduate level, BOCEP DL courses help you think more critically about the topics, so you can be more creative and effective.

How do BOCEP DL classes work? You learn from seasoned practitioners who lead facilitated dialogues among other professionals in the class. The dialogues are on discussion boards that you can participate in at your convenience. Classes are 5.5 weeks, so you have time to think, practice what you learned, and reflect on your experience. Because most BOCEP learners are mid- and senior-level professionals, you can learn a lot from one another.

Urban Design Analysis and New Jersey Planning Law are among six BOCEP courses beginning September 23. The others are:
*Community Development Analysis
*Developer's Toolbox: Housing Market Analysis
*Introduction to Environmental Planning
*Introduction to Urban Planning

These courses are $295. All but Introduction to Urban Planning are eligible for 14 AICP CM credits. The first 10 registrants get a $50 scholarship. (Use promotion code: BGBBS) Members of the Professional Development Institute mailing list get bigger scholarships and more information on upcoming courses and events.

BOCEP is produced by the Professional Development Institute (PDI) of Rutgers University's Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy – which has one of the top planning programs in the United States.
