Atlanta's Traffic Woes

Residents are demanding relief from the region's enormous traffic problem, but so far solutions are still in the planning stages.

"Metro residents say traffic is the area's No. 1 problem - above crime, lagging schools and pollution. And while one-third of Atlantans named it as the biggest problem just a year ago, this year the proportion jumped sharply, to 42 percent. In fact, half of Gwinnett County and north Fulton County residents see it as the area's biggest headache." State and local planners are facing criticism for the current state of the region.
