Enhance your job skills and build your career through BOCEP
Bloustein Online Continuing Education Program
The Bloustein Online Continuing Education Program is for smart, busy professionals who want more from their professional development than continuing education credits. Our courses are convenient, interactive, cost-effective and taught at a high level of quality. BOCEP does more than provide knowledge and teach skills. The seasoned practitioners who teach in BOCEP help you think more deeply about issues and tools, which can help you succeed in your job and career.
And yes, almost all of these courses will be submitted for 14 AICP Certification Maintenance credits each.
Upcoming courses in January are:
• Current Trends in Land Use Law, January 7 to February 14.
• Pro Formas, January 7 to February 14
• Brownfields Redevelopment, January 21 to February 28
• Introduction to New Urbanism, January 21 to February 28
• Introduction to Urban Planning, January 21 to February 28
All above courses, except for Introduction to Urban Planning, will be submitted for 14 AICP CM credits.
BOCEP combines the convenience of the online environment with the peer-to-peer benefits of traditional workshops. There are no required meetings. You can share ideas and learn from the experiences of professionals from around the United States and the world. In a recent urban design class were planning and legal professionals from Canada, Italy and Poland, as well as California, Arkansas and Ohio. BOCEP classes give you the time to learn at your convenience, practice and share your insights.
Never taken an online course? No worries. Most BOCEP learners are online learning "newbies" and most in their course evaluations said the online classroom was easy to use, that they learned a great deal in their course, and that what they learned will help them in their jobs and careers.
Course fees are $295 (not including any required reading materials.) Planetizen readers can get a $50 scholarship. Use promotion code: BGBBS
BOCEP is produced by the Professional Development Institute of Rutgers University's Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. Bloustein has one of the top planning programs in the United States.
