This certificate program offers working professionals an opportunity to expand their education from the convenience of your home or office.
Site Planning is now available to planning practioners who are interested in learning about the fundamentals of site planning. This course covers the fundamentals of site design. The course provides instruction of soil types, the supply of utilities to a site, open space, transportation planning, parking, land uses, and the role of the planning and zoning commission in approval of site plans. Examples of how to review site plans are included.
The course instructor is Steve Gordon, PhD, AICP. Gordon is on the City and Regional Planning faculty at The Ohio State University.
The price for this course is $75.
The Site Planning course has been approved for 7 hours of Certification Maintenance (CM) credit.
