Find out how to combine historic preservation with economic development in your commercial district during this intensive, four-day training, which covers each of the four components of Main Street Four Point Approach™.
Economic Restructuring - economic forces affecting main street, retail market analysis, business retention and recruitment, real estate development.
Design - basics of architectural style, façade rehabilitation, streetscape improvements, business appearance, design incentives.
Organization - establishing and structuring an organization, drafting a work plan, raising funds, managing volunteers.
Promotion - defining and marketing Main Street's image, understanding the three categories of promotions, organizing and implementing promotional events.
