Learn Environmental Planning Law, Form Based Codes, Brownfields Redevelopment, Long Range Planning
Bloustein Online Continuing Education Program
The Bloustein Online Continuing Education Program is meant for busy professionals who want substantive and practical knowledge on a variety of subjects. Our courses are designed to help you learn at your convenience, share knowledge with professionals from around the United States, and apply what you get from each course. We use best practices in adult education to give you knowledge that lasts.
From May 28 to July 5, we are offering five classes:
*Affordable Housing Strategies. This course will cover the differences between affordable housing and workforce housing as well as policy, political and economic issues in housing.
*Brownfields Redevelopment. This course will cover redevelopment opportunities and challenges, as well as lessons learned from successful projects.
*Environmental Planning Law. This course will cover federal, state, regional and local environmental laws.
*Form Based Codes Design Studio. This course will cover code development fundamentals, model codes and how to evaluate form based codes.
*Long Range Planning. This course will cover visioning, buildout analysis and benchmarking.
All of our courses are taught by expert practitioners who are committed to helping you learn the material. For example, students in the Form Based Codes Design Studio will work together on a real zoning project. (Think you can't do that in an online course? There's a lot of pleasant surprises in a BOCEP class.)
Students who pass three courses receive a Certificate of Completion. We may submit these courses to receive 14 AICP Certification Maintenance credits each. (We are waiting for the AICP Commission to vote on a change to the Certification Maintenance program before we decide on submitting the courses for credit.)
Each course costs $270. The first 10 registrants for each course receive a $70 discount. Use promotion code: B05S08
