Planning & Development Manager

Successful candidate will manage and oversee the activities and operations of the Planning and Economic Development Division within the Department of Development, including planning, zoning, and economic development projects; will coordinate assigned activities with other city departments and outside agencies; and will perform responsible supervisory, managerial and professional work related to development, zoning, economic development, economic incentives, comprehensive planning and utilization of land. Requirements: five years of experience in urban planning or community development, including two years of administrative and supervisory experience; and a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in urban planning or related field. Masters Degree is preferred. Experience requirements may be reduced if candidate has received a Graduate Degree in a relevant field. Salary range: $4,015 to $5,622 per month; excellent benefits.
