mobil.TUM 2008 - International Conference on Mobility and Transport in Munich (Germany) – April 8-9,
TU München, Fachgebiet für Siedlungsstruktur und Verkehrsplanung
As part of the mobil.TUM initiative, the Institute for Transportation at the Technische Universität München (Munich Technical University) is organizing an international conference on the topics of mobility and transportation. For mobil.TUM 2008, the Department of Urban Structure and Transportation Planning is setting the focus on the theme of ACCESSIBILITY. The conference will take place on April 8th and 9th, 2008 in the city of Munich, Germany.
Accessibility depends on the quality of transport supply and on the attractiveness of places. It influences our everyday travel as well as our long-term mobility decisions and contributes to quality of life. We will discuss these challenging topics and related questions with a rich scope of papers and presentations. There will also be the possibility to meet and exchange with international experts such as Eric Miller, Alain L'Hostis, Yves Crozet, Michael Wegener, Fritz Busch, Gebhard Wulfhorst and Todd Litmann. Contributions will be in English, German and French (with simultaneous translation into English).
We hope this scientific exchange is of interest to you and we are delighted to invite you to take part in this event and share your ideas and suggestions. You may easily register for this event by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. Please send your registration by March 28th.
