Natrona County, Wyoming
Salary Range - $65,000 to $80,000 DOE
Natrona County, Wyoming, with a total population of 70,000 and a population of 14,000 in the unincorporated areas, is seeking a qualified candidate to perform the duties of Planning and Development Director.
The Director's Duties Include:
Supervision of staff; development and administration of annual budget; research; preparation of reports and surveys; administration of the County Development Plan, review of site plans, the administration of land use and zoning programs and other duties as assigned. The Director works under the direction of the Board of County Commissioners and serves as staff to the Board, as well as the Planning Commission, on all matters pertaining to current and long-range planning matters.
Minimum Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning or related field, with five years of experience in planning, subdivisions, zoning, land use, community development programs and funding, grants and land development. AICP and two years of supervisory experience is preferred. Experience with GIS is a plus.
