Learn Site Planning Analysis, Retail Market Analysis, Environmental Planning Law and more
Rutgers University, Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy
Rutgers University's Bloustein Online Continuing Education Program (BOCEP) is offering a number of online professional development courses beginning February 27. BOCEP provides convenient, high quality and affordable training and development to planners and related professionals. Our courses are taught at a graduate level and combine the best qualities of online and traditional workshops. You can learn at your own convenience – there are no required meetings – and you can share ideas with professionals from around the United States. You learn under the guidance of an experienced practitioner. Classes last six weeks, so you have plenty of time to practice what you learn and share your insights and questions with the class.
Each course is normally $270. The first 10 participants to register will receive a discount of $40. Please use discount code: EBEB40. Participants who pass three courses will receive a Certificate of Completion from Rutgers University. We will request that each BOCEP course that runs from February to April 2008 be eligible for up to 14 continuing education credits in the American Institute of Certified Planners Certification Maintenance program.
From February 27 to April 5, we are offering a number of courses, including:
• Developer's Toolbox: Retail Market Analysis
• Site Planning Analysis
• Managing the Challenges of Infill Development
• Environmental Planning Law
• New Jersey Planning Law
To learn more about any of these courses, please visit our website at http://www.policy.rutgers.edu/bocep
BOCEP courses have served hundreds of professionals – many of them mid- and senior-level planners – from around the United States. The majority of course graduates surveyed said their course met or exceeded all of their expectations. What they have enjoyed most in their courses include "reading about other students' projects," "communications between class participants," "the readings and the professor's responses," and "[the instructor] responded to my emails very quickly."
