Duties: Planners are responsible for the preparation and presentation of studies and reports (written, graphic and oral). Planning staff also assists with the preparation of task assignments within each Section and coordinating these tasks with other Sections and/or Divisions of the Department. Represent the Department when necessary.

Requirements: Master's or bachelor's degree in urban planning, regional planning, landscape architecture or a related field; and depending on position, some professional level planning experience is required; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of urban planning.

Salary: $31,583 - $43,718
