Planning Intern
City of San Pablo
The Community Services Department of the City of San Pablo is seeking an intern to provide assistance in the areas of current and long range planning and redevelopment projects. This position will involve 20 hours per week during school session (preferably in one and one-half or two day blocks) with full-time work possible during breaks and the summer. (Maximum Hours per Fiscal Year - 995 Hours). This position is limited to a maximum employment period of 12 months. This position is subject to and dependent on the continued availability of funds and the manpower needs of the City of San Pablo. This is an "at-will" employment opportunity, without expectation of indefinite employment and may be terminated at any time without cause within the total discretion of the appointing authority. Applicants must be in their senior year of undergraduate program or be graduate students in Urban Planning, Engineering, Architecture, Geography, Public Administration or a closely related field. Possession of a Class C California Driver's License and insurability by the City's insurance carrier.
