RFP For The City Of Folsom General Plan Update And EIR
The City of Folsom
The General Plan Update is expected to focus on the annexation area south of U. S. Highway 50 and infill development opportunities within the existing City limits; identify a Planning Area Boundary; provide guidance relating to economic development; incorporating smart growth concepts, green technology and principles; and preserve and enhance existing neighborhoods. The final document shall be responsive to the visions of the residents of City of Folsom, and must ensure maximum legal defensibility.
SCHEDULE
August 17, 2007 Pre-Proposal Meeting
September 7, 2007 Proposals due
October 5, 2007 Consultant Interviews
November 13, 2007 Approval of contract
City desires to have the project completed and adopted by March of 2009.
