What If? - GIS-Based Forecasting Model
What if?, Inc.
What if?, Inc. announces the release of What if? 2.0, an easy-to-use geographic information system (GIS)-based tool for preparing land use, population, and employment forecasts for census areas, political jurisdictions, traffic analysis zones, and other user-defined areas. What if? 2.0 can be used to consider the impacts that policies for controlling growth, preserving agricultural land, or expanding public infrastructure will have on future development patterns.
"What if? 2.0 allows private citizens, public officials, and organizations to use readily available spatial and non-spatial information to consider the implications that future growth will have on their communities," Dick Klosterman, President, What if?, Inc.
