AIA Columbus, in partnership with AIA National, is sponsoring three community charrettes, which will culminate in an international competition focusing on the current and future state of public transportation in Columbus, Ohio. The competition will generate dialogue about the possibilities for the role of public transportation in Columbus with special emphasis on illustrating how multiple transportation modes can work together to provide a complete network that connects citizens with their community and sparks economic development. The competition will look for solutions for three specific sites in Columbus prime for transportation infrastructure enhancements.
