Notice of Request for Qualifications for Innovative Design Competition for Toronto's Lower Don Lands
The TWRC, in cooperation with TRCA and the City of Toronto, is seeking input from the world's most talented and creative design and engineering professionals in developing bold new concepts for the Lower Don Lands area, including the mouth of the Don River. It is anticipated that approximately five firms or teams representing a range of different design philosophies will be selected through this Request for Qualifications(RFQ) to participate in an eight-week design competition. Teams should preferably be led by a landscape or architectural design firm, and include expertise in landscape, architecture, urban planning, aquatic and terrestrial ecology, transportation and hydraulic engineering, and sustainability.
Interested Firms are welcome to submit their proposals for this project.
A copy of the TWRC Request for Proposal Documents detailing information on the services required by the TWRC may be obtained by accessing the TWRC website at www.towaterfront.ca, under the procurement section. The Request for Proposal Documents specify all relevant deadlines, including the deadline for questions.
