This course offers an opportunity for attendees to explore partnerships with workforce development systems and providers to respond to specific economic events. Using case studies, scenarios, and immediate examples drawn from attendees, the faculty will help participants identify points of opportunity and leverage, and determine an action plan to influence strategies and actions. The course will discuss the need to consider and address issue along the continuum of workforce development, and how associated factors (housing, transportation, dependent care) influence the success of workforce development efforts.
