The University of California, Davis (UC Davis), requests the submission of written statements of qualifications and required information at or before 5 PM on December 12, 2005 for on-call professional transportation planning and engineering services as follows:

Provide general transportation planning and engineering for campus roadway, bicycle, pedestrian, and transit issues. Types of services will include evaluation of existing transportation conditions, initial concept review and design of proposed improvements, evaluation of transportation effects that could result from proposed campus growth and development projects, and detailed analysis, review and engineering for roadways and intersection operations.

Perform traffic analyses of proposed UC Davis development projects and prepare environmental documentation consistent with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

Evaluate effectiveness and provide implementation guidance and planning for mitigation measures adopted as part of the UC Davis 2003 Long Range Development Plan.

Participate in public and agency outreach and involvement related to the campus' transportation planning and review processes.

One contract will be awarded and it is anticipated that the contract will extend from winter 2006 through fall 2008.
