Learn to be an Effective Planning Manager

Those involved in managing a planning agency or those who want to become a planning manager need training on how to be most effective. This on-line course offered through Ohio State University's City and Regional Planning program is designed to teaching planners about:
•Budgeting
•Communication
•Organizational Management
•Personnel Management
•Working with Consultants
•Writing and responding to RFQ/RFPs
This course runs from January through April and is taught at a graduate level. There are no scheduled class meetings. Participants view audio/video lectures, discuss issues, work on projects and consult with faculty on a weekly basis. The course includes hand-on experience that includes case studies, team work, and projects.
This course is open to any person with a bachelor's degree. This course may be transferred to a graduate program.
