June 23 Chicago Conference on Obesity and the Built Environment

The Consortium to Lower Obesity in Chicago Children [CLOCC] presents its first conference, "From the Ground Up: Improving Chicago's Physical Activity and Nutrition Environments" on Wednesday, June 23 from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Spertus Institute at 618 S. Michigan Ave. in Chicago. This accessible one-day conference is an ideal opportunity for policymakers and urban planners to confront the obesity epidemic from both physical planning and policy angles. National and local experts will explore community-level barriers to good nutrition and physical activity, putting Chicago's recent efforts into a national context. Please register now and plan to attend!
