The second edition of the National Charrette Institute's "Charrette Start Up Kit" CD-ROM is now available. Serving as the first module of the NCI Charrette Planner Certification Program, the Start Up Kit will give you a basic understanding of:

- How to build public trust and support for your project,
- The key tools for a successful Charrette, and
- The principles behind transformative change.

We solicited feedback on our original Start Up Kit to make the second edition even better. These CD-ROMs are hot off the presses and we are very excited about the upgrades that we have made. These include:

- Improved format and information flow,
- Additional Charrette management techniques,
- Additional scheduling techniques, and
- More public involvement tools and techniques.

The CD-ROM includes:

- An 86-minute narrated presentation of the first module of the NCI Charrette Planner Certification,
- A 65-page workbook to accompany the presentation, and
- A Dynamic Planning checklist of tools and Techniques.
