Reno Sparks Indian Colony

The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony (RSIC) a tribal government organized under section 16 of the Indian Reorganization Act, 48 Stat. 984 (herein called RSIC) seeks responses and qualifications of individuals or firms interested in serving as a Consultant and coordinator in the completion of the RSIC's Comprehensive Strategic Plan. Responses will be received by the RSIC at its offices at 98 Colony Road, Reno, NV 89502 until 2:00 P.M., on March 17, 2004. Responses for firms or individuals received after the date and time specified above will not be accepted

Scope and Purpose: The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony (RSIC) intends to update and expand its current strategic plan. The RSIC is interested in preparing a Strategic Plan that will provide short-term (1-5 years) and long-term (5-20 years) guidance in the strategic management of the Colony's properties, programs and departments related to economic development, provision of social and health services, public safety, housing, planning and public works.

The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit Statement of Qualifications from qualified firms that are interested in providing facilitation and strategic planning services. RSIC will use the responses to evaluate and determine which firms will be invited to submit written proposals and make presentations to the Tribal Council. Acceptance of Statement of Qualifications does not imply that the firm will be selected to submit a written proposal.

The RSIC intends that the selected firm will act as the principal consulting firm for the project, but may utilize the services of engineers, planners, economists and other specialized consulting firms and individuals necessary to complete the project.
