Join us at the first national conference on density: Boston, September 11-14, 2003
Boston Society of Architects
A victim of its own success, the American Dream of a suburban utopia increasingly looks like a historic cul-de-sac. Can Americans translate a rising resentment of sprawl into a renewed willingness to embrace density? Building a new American Dream may require us to do just that.
At Density: Myth & Reality - a national conference organized by the Boston Society of Architects and the American Institute of Architects - leading designers, planners, public officials, developers, and journalists will explore the realities of density as the first step toward dispelling myths and fears that thwart progress toward a new American Dream.
AIA members can earn up to 15 HSW learning units by attending the sessions.
If you are interested in registering for the conference, please visit www.architects.org/density for more information. The registration period closes at the end of business on September 8. Because spaces are limited, you will increase your chances of securing seats at the sessions of your choice by registering now.
We look forward to seeing you at the conference.
