A new national web-based consultant directory published on PLANetizen has attracted more than 50,000 visitors interested in learning more about planning and development firms. With over 60 categories of specialists -- from airport planning to new urbanism to zoning -- the PLANetizen consultant directory connects local and state planning professionals with a national audience of firms providing their services in all phases of the real estate development process.

"Government officials are turning to the Internet to find listings of firms that can help them plan, design, and build a wide range of projects", said Chris Steins, PLANetizen's editor.
