Criterion Becomes 'What If' Reseller

Criterion Planners/Engineers

What If joins a range of planning support systems marketed by Criterion, including its own INDEX suite of tools, MultiGen Paradigm's SiteBuilder, and all of ESRI's GIS products. What If was developed by Richard Klosterman, PhD, an internationally-recognized expert in planning tools. It provides land suitability analysis, growth forecasting, and policy evaluation functions geared to long-range comprehensive planning. According to Criterion Principal Eliot Allen, "We're delighted to add a premier tool like What If to our current selection of products. This is an important step toward our vision of a one-stop source for the best planning support systems in the country." Allen's sentiments were echoed by Dick Klosterman: "We look forward to working with Criterion to provide planners with state-of-the-art tools that improve the quality of community design and decision-making."
