Performs, coordinates, develops, designs and administers professional and technical planning work for the City of Decatur, Illinois to include preparing and updating functional plans and assisting City officials in formulating policies, addressing urban design and physical development issues. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, City Planning or related field or equivalent experience. Masters degree preferred, with two years experience in municipal urban planning and design, city planning, emphasis on land use, development, and economic development activities, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
